“Effectiveness of Screening Colonoscopy to Prevent Colorectal Cancer among Medicare Beneficiaries Aged 70 to 79 Years -- behind the scenes”.

Dr. Garcia-De-Albeniz is a Research Associate at the Program on Causal Inference at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.  After training as a Medical Oncologist, Xabi practiced clinical oncology and worked at a genomics lab for the next 2 years. He subsequently earned a PhD, and Master degrees in Biostatistics and Epidemiology. During his postdoctoral work at Harvard, he learned advanced causal inference methods to handle and analyze large multidimensional datasets. His current research focuses on the application of cutting-edge analytic methods for causal inference from big databases to inform cancer care and prevention.
