"Muscle Wasting and Survival in Stage I-III Colorectal Cancer: Implications for Radiologists & Regulatory Agencies”.

Justin Brown is a Program for Cancer Outcomes Research Training Fellow in the Division of Population Sciences at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He received a BS in Exercise Physiology from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2009 and an MA in Kinesiology from the University of Connecticut in 2011. Dr. Brown received his PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016.

The overarching mission of his research program is to identify the specific biological and biobehavioral pathways through which energy balance related lifestyle factors—including physical activity, diet, and body composition—influence cancer prognosis. His methodologic expertise includes the design and conduct of randomized controlled trials and cohort studies.
